Our size is our strength
Envision Capital Management®, Inc. manages portfolios of fixed income securities for individuals. Marilyn Cohen, founder and chief of investment strategy along with portfolio manager, Alex Anderson, have had distinguished careers with two of the largest bond companies in the world--Cantor Fitzgerald and Wells Capital. They know the limitations such mega-institutions force upon individuals with smaller bond portfolios.
Envision’s size is its strength: We’re large enough to command sufficient clout in the fixed income markets to get institutional market prices or better. Yet, we’re small enough to provide separately managed bond accounts and the individual attention that requires for each and every client. We don’t treat our clients as one large pool of investment capital as do the huge institutions. Instead, we custom tailor each client’s asset management and investment program to their specific needs, their tolerance for risk and their required returns. Then we execute. Precisely. Flawlessly. We get it right the first time, every time.
Qualities that make Envision Capital Unique
You are a phone call away from your personal account and portfolio managers, Marilyn Cohen and Alex Anderson. You won’t have to go through layers of marketing or administrative bureaucracy to get your questions promptly and respectfully answered or just to talk strategy. We work for you and never forget it. We genuinely want to hear from you.
Custom fixed income account design and management is our niche specialty and something the mega-managers cannot begin to equal. We have clients who want less risk. They may want 70 percent of their money in tax-free municipal bonds. Yet they want the upside income generated by investing the remaining 30 percent in high yield bonds. We counsel, advise, and then execute. Together we form an investment strategy that makes you comfortable and meets your financial requirements of safety, liquidity and yield.
We employ a third party account custodian
Envision Capital domiciles each client account at Fidelity Investments, the industry’s largest, most reputable custodian firm. We do this for the safety of our clients and for their peace of mind. Besides that, it’s just good business to separate your money manager from the custodian of your funds.
As a prime broker designee, Envision has the ability to trade with any broker/dealer in the industry that has the best price for the bonds we’re buying or selling on any given transaction. We make constant use of that privilege, getting multiple bids or offers on each transaction from firms all over Wall Street. In fact, we do transactions with over forty brokerage firms.
Access to your money
Yes, we treat your money with the same diligence, attention to detail and care as if it were our own. But it is not. Any time you wish, you have access to your online account statement from Fidelity. Equally as important, we are happy to review your account’s performance statistics whenever you wish and as often as you wish. It's your money and your peace of mind. We’re here to serve you.

Account status reporting
Envision Capital provides quarterly performance reports and summaries of portfolio positions. Supplementing our internally prepared reports, our clients also receive monthly account statements and confirmations of each transaction from our third party custodian, Fidelity Investments. This allows clients an independent, third party control and check on the account. Our reporting goal is that each client knows precisely where their fixed income investments stand at all times. We meet whatever reporting requirements you and your professional advisors wish.
Additionally, we send year-end transaction details to you and/or your accountant. These reports provide everything needed relating to your fixed income investment account for state and federal income tax purposes.
